We run our sailing week adventures in Sardinia & Corsica. The trip has been developed with a group of friends from Paris and Sicily with a deep passion for the region and a true love for sailing. Over the years, they’ve become great friends of Alice. Since 2012, we’ve together gathered more than 1,000 people to join us on our boats. The result today is truly amazing: top-notch Sailing week adventures in the most beautiful destinations around the world. Just to mention a few such as Sardinia & Corsica, the Hamptons, Ibiza or Saint Barth in the Caribbeans. Each sailing week is built upon the founders’ passion to meet new friends from around the world. We sail, explore & party together in the most breathtaking places the sea has to offer. The concept reflects the celebration of friendship, conviviality and passion for life. Simply put: 1 week of pure happiness!
“The Follow Alice Sailing Week was the best trip of my life. Could not recommend a trip more, encourage everyone reading this to just go – you will not regret it!” Ben
Rather than promoting trashy party tourism on boats, the vision has always been to create a wild, fun, unforgettable holiday experience while remaining respectful visitors to the sea & islands. This is reflected in the close, deep relationships we have built over the years with boat charters, family run restaurants, water sport operators and local nightclubs. Keeping a small, exclusive fleet of 5 boats allows you to connect quickly with people on other boats and experience this remarkable adventure like a true local.
“My trip was phenomenal. The catamarans were top notch, the group was very well picked and the captains and skippers were the best I have encountered” Carolina Siles
Set in the Mediterranean Sea, our sailing week will take you to the most exciting spots around the beautiful islands of Sardinia and Corsica – home to wild coastlines, ancient walled towns, picturesque bays, fine cuisine and vibrant open-air nightclubs. This route is an adult’s playground – yachts, vino and endless summer nights!
Be prepared to be amazed by the variety of stuff you can do during a week on one of our boats: dip into the Mediterranean sea for your morning rinse, hop on a jet ski for a spin around the bay, chill on the sundeck whilst your skipper sails you along the coast, get wild at the poolparty on Palombara beach, climb Bonifacio cliffs to visit the stunning old town, head out for a well-deserved delicious feast during sunset or dance under the stars as if there were no tomorrow. The possibilities are endless, but only you decide how to make each day unforgettable!
“It was an incredible balance of fun, relaxing and exploring the most beautiful places. The energy of everyone was uplifting and connecting with everyone was very natural, we made many good friends that we are still close with” Omrit
While on board, you drink, eat, sunbathe and bond with your boat mates. Your skipper will do the tricky navigation and take care of the sailing. So you can relax and enjoy. While the overall itinerary is defined for the whole fleet, you and your boat will be free to decide how to navigate through the sea and across the bays each day!
**PLEASE NOTE THAT THE EXACT ITINERARY FOR 2019 IS STILL FINALISED. EVERY YEAR, WE CHANGE THE ITINERARY SLIGHTLY FOR OUR RECURRING SAILORS. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS FOR BOOKING FLIGHTS ETC. PLEASE CHAT TO US
We will meet at a beach in Sardinia close to Olbia airport (location tba). We will spend the day at the beach until the boats are ready from the charter to check in.
We start our sailing week to one of the most beautiful beaches of Sardinia, Cinta San Teodoro, where we spend the day swimming, wake boarding, jet skiing or simply relaxing. In the afternoon, we leave for Tavolara Island to enjoy the breathtaking sunset.
Today, we cross over to Corsica where we stop at Lavezzi Islands, a group of small, barren uninhabited granite islands, 10 km southeast off the coast of Bonifacio, with beautiful shell sand beaches and azure-coloured sea. We will go for a hike around the islands, chill on the small, hidden beaches and explore the islands under water snorkelling or diving.
You cannot visit Corsica without sailing to Bonifacio, an ancient and idyllic fortress town teetering on the edge of magnificent limestone cliffs. This day is used to wander through the labyrinth of narrow streets and historic buildings of the city. Fill up on food and water for the boats or go kitesurfing in one of the bays close by. At night, we will enjoy the fine french cuisine at a grand dinner in the old town before we party under the stars at the port.
On our way back to Sardinia, we spend the day in the translucent seas of the La Maddalena Archipelago, just off the Costa Smeralda, a quiet place of turquoise lagoons, deserted islands and the most heavenly beaches in Sardinia. We will be snorkelling and wake boarding around the archipelago’s most spectacular island, the uninhabited Spargi, before we head to Phi Beach, an open air restaurant located near the military outpost of Forte Cappellini. While enjoying one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world, we will have some great Italian food & vino before heading over to Ritual’s nightclub to dance into the night!
Our sailing Sardinia & Corsica week is slowly coming to an end, so we aim to finish strong with a day of water fun including options to wind- or kitesurf at Porto Pollo, one of Europe’s best surfing spots, followed by a themed beach party at night!
After sleeping a bit longer this morning to recover from last night’s adventures, we will have a grand lunch at Cala di Volpe. Overlooking one of the most beautiful coves of Costa Smeralda, Hotel Cala di Volpe was built as an ancient fishing village, with porches, arches and stairs. Our lunch will be followed by time to relax on the beach or an afternoon day-party. For all of you folks that simply don’t want to stop. At night, we go to Il Tartarughino in Porto Rotondo for our final dinner.
It’s time to say goodbye to your old and new friends with whom you spent this unforgettable, past week! After you’re done with the boat check-out in Marina di Port, you will head back to Olbia airport (OLB) or wherever else you have to go. By this point, we promise that you will already be thinking about coming back to this little paradise next year!
“The group of people that they got together for this intimate sailing trip were all fun-loving, energetic and warm; making the environment come to life with love and laughter. Lots of dancing in the nights was followed by peaceful sailing and breathtaking views in the day” Giselle Liotta
