Detailed Itinerary

Cho La, EBC trek, Nepal

Day 1: Travel from Kathmandu to Lukla by helicopter and then trek to Phakding (2,610 m)

Begin your adventure with an early morning luxury helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, offering 35–45 minutes of breathtaking Himalayan panoramas. When you land, enjoy a gentle trek along the Dudh Koshi River, passing charming Sherpa villages, monasteries, and suspension bridges. This 3–4 hour trek is a perfect introduction to the region. Overnight is at a luxury lodge in Phakding, such as Yeti Mountain Home or a similar property, where you can relax in comfort.

Day 2: Venture through Phakding en route to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)

After breakfast, trek through fragrant pine forests, crossing suspension bridges including the iconic Hillary Bridge, and enjoy your first views of Everest from Top Danda. Continue to the vibrant Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar over 5–6 hours, gaining approximately 830 meters in altitude. Overnight is at a luxury lodge, such as Yeti Mountain Home, offering warm comfort amidst the mountains.

Day 3: Travel from Namche to Everest View Hotel (3,880 m)

Start the day with a short 2–3 hour trek to the renowned Everest View Hotel, one of the highest luxury lodges in the world. Along the way, take in stunning close-up views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. If time allows, explore Khumjung village and the Hillary School for a glimpse into local Sherpa life. Overnight is at the Everest View Hotel, where panoramic vistas await just outside your window.

Day 4: Helicopter tour to Everest Base Camp & Kala Patthar

Board a private helicopter from the Everest View Hotel helipad for an extraordinary day of aerial adventure. Fly to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) for breathtaking views of the world’s highest peak, then continue to Kala Patthar (5,545 m), the closest possible vantage point of Everest. Complete the journey with a flight to Kongde View Hotel, one of Nepal’s highest luxury lodges at 4,250 meters, offering unmatched Himalayan panoramas. You will stay overnight at Kongde View Hotel, enjoying the lodge’s comforts and extraordinary views.

Day 5: Helicopter Flight from Lukla Back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic helicopter flight back to Lukla, then onward to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and relax, reflecting on your unforgettable luxury Himalayan adventure. This marks the end of the Short Everest BC Luxury Trek.
