Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

You will arrive at the Kathmandu Airport, where you’ll be welcomed by your driver and transferred to your hotel by a driver. Take some time to settle in, relax, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of Nepal’s capital. You will spend the night in Nepal’s capital.

Day 2: Journey to Pokhara

After breakfast, travel to Pokhara by a scenic 25-minute flight or a 6–7 hour drive through the lush Trishuli Valley, passing rivers, rolling hills, and charming villages along the way. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to relax. A gentle stroll along Phewa Lake, watching the mountains, or exploring the lakeside market is a perfect way to spend the afternoon. Overnight stay in Pokhara, with accommodation options suited to every traveller.

Day 3: Drive to Pritam Deurali and trek to Forest Camp (1,800 m)

After breakfast, drive to Pritam Deurali, the starting point of your trek. The trail winds through rhododendron and oak forests, crossing streams and passing small villages. Keep an eye out for views of Machapuchare (Fishtail) and Annapurna South along the way. After around five hours of trekking, you’ll reach Forest Camp (1,800 m), where you’ll stay in a teahouse or camp surrounded by peaceful nature.

Day 4: Trek from Forest Camp to Low Camp (2,800 m)

On this day, you will continue through dense forests, bamboo groves, and small waterfalls, gradually ascending above the tree line. Enjoy panoramic views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machapuchare as you trek. The journey takes about five hours, bringing you to Low Camp (2,800 m). Evening light often casts a stunning glow over the Himalayas, perfect for a photo or quiet reflection.

Day 5: Trek from Low Camp to High Camp (3,580 m)

The trail becomes steeper today as you climb toward High Camp (3,580 m). Trekking through alpine meadows and rocky terrain, you’ll gain more expansive views of the surrounding peaks. High Camp is an ideal spot to acclimatise and soak in the scenery before the base camp trek tomorrow.

Day 6: Trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500 m)

Start early for the ascent to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500 m). Optionally, visit the Mardi Himal Viewpoint for 360° panoramas of Annapurna South, Machapuchare, Hiunchuli, and Mardi Himal. The round-trip takes about six to seven hours. After enjoying the spectacular vistas, return to High Camp for your overnight stay.

Day 7: Trek to Siding

Descend through forests, alpine meadows, and small villages to Siding on a trek of about six hours. From here, you’ll transfer by vehicle back to Pokhara, arriving in the early afternoon. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy; you can relax by Phewa Lake, visit the Peace Stupa, or wander the lakeside markets.

Day 8: Flight back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, transfer to Pokhara Airport for a short flight back to Kathmandu, or travel by road through the hills and river valleys. On arrival, you’ll be taken to your hotel to relax and reflect on your trek.

Day 9: Departure day

Today marks the end of your Mardi Himal journey. Transfer to Kathmandu Airport for your onward flight, taking with you memories of the mountains, valleys, and the unforgettable 7-day trek.
