Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

You arrive in Kathmandu, where you’ll be met at Tribhuvan International Airport by your driver and transferred privately to your hotel. Once checked in, there’s time to settle in and freshen up before a trek briefing later in the day. This is your chance to meet your guide, walk through the route ahead, and do a final gear check to ensure you’re properly prepared for the days in the mountains. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Step out into Thamel’s lively streets to browse trekking shops, pick up any last-minute essentials, or soak up the atmosphere with a coffee or early dinner. It’s a gentle introduction to Nepal.
