The Follow Alice Sailing Week – aka yacht week for adults – takes place in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. The sailing week takes you to the most exciting spots around the beautiful islands of Sardinia and Corsica – home to wild coastlines, ancient walled towns, picturesque bays, fine cuisine and vibrant open-air nightclubs. The route is an adult’s playground – yachts, vino and endless summer nights!
The week is built upon the founders’ passion to meet new friends from around the world — and sail, explore and party together in the most breathtaking places the Mediterranean Sea has to offer. The Follow Alice Sailing Week concept reflects the celebration of friendship and passion for life. Simply put: 1 week of pure happiness.
“You get to bond with known or unknown people in an amazing environment with the most incredible scenery. Would do any time again and recommend to anyone. Worth the money!” Fab Castell

WHAT Sail, explore, party in the most beautiful spots of the Mediterranean Sea
1. Whats the history behind the Follow Alice Sailing Week?
The Follow Alice Sailing Week started out as a small sailing trip of a bunch of friends from France and Italy back in 2012, has now become one of the most fun boutique boat festivals out there. Since then, we’ve gathered more than 1,000 people to join us on our boats and the result today is truly amazing. Top-notch sailing week adventures in one of the most beautiful destinations in the world; Sardinia & Corsica.
2. What does the itinerary look like?
Take a look at the options and sailing week itinerary here.

3. What are the yachts like on the sailing week?
We have a fleet of five large, luxurious catamarans. Each catamaran can host 10 to 12 individuals, so that’s 50 to 60 participants in total. All yachts have air conditioning (very important!). Some yachts are newer and have a bit more space. Two example are the Lagoon 52 and Lagoon 42. A spot on a L52 is a bit more expensive than on a L42. Take a look at the options and sailing week itinerary here.
4. Am I sharing a room on the boat?
Most yachts have four double cabins, two small, single cabins and four bathrooms. The most convenient way is to share a double cabin with a friend. However, solo travellers are also very welcome and we can either match them with another solo traveller of the same sex (if possible) or allocate a single cabin. Below is an example layout of a four bedroom catamaran.

5. What am I actually doing on the yacht?
Maryna, one of our ambassadors, joined us last year and was kind enough to write a blogpost about her experience. She answers a lot of questions that ‘first-timers’ may have and explains what you will actually be doing on and off the yacht.
“Regarding the activities organised on-shore, the Follow Alice organisers struck the right balance between sightseeing time, dinners and reservations at some of the best nightclubs in Sardinia, which meant there was something for everyone to do.” Cristian Boldan
6. What do I need to bring with me?
We have put together a handy packing list so you know won’t miss out on any essentials!
7. What are the people like?
Follow Alice is on a mission to bring like-minded people together. A journey is best measured in friends, not miles. We only market to selected people and have a limit of 60 participants: 30 girls and 30 guys. It has always been the vision of our founders to keep an intimate family-feel on all our tours. Most of the participants are between 25 and 35 years old, from every continent but with one thing in common: a passion for new experiences meeting new people.
“The people I met on the trip were the best. They were all young professionals who had interesting stories to share from all around the world! In addition to the amazing party experience, meeting them was the best part of the trip” Shutong Zhang

“Regarding the people, there was a great mix from many countries in their late 20s or early 30s, each with a very unique story. Most people were professionals in metropolitan cities in Europe, North America and Latin America that knew how to have fun in a responsible way and were looking for a unique experience, which made it very easy for everyone to get along.” Maryna
8. What do former participants think?
Here are a few reviews from previous participants:
Fantastically organised trip with incredible people. Travelling with friends and friends of friends is the best way to travel as proven by Follow Alice! Getting to know like minded people over a short period of time on a boat exceeds whatever prejudices one may have about being in a small space with other individuals. It creates a feeling of enjoying the same spectacular things as a ‘family’ and while you can relax, party, sleep, eat, forget about your daily routine.
I went to travel with Follow Alice during July 2017 and totally loved it. Our group of people that were brought to the boat was awesome. The whole crew, including our lovely skipper Guila was amazing and we had a really good time all together during the trip. What I loved the most was the mix between nature and fun. We went to some lonely islands and bays, where we could have some time only for us, hanging out, seeing the sunset and we also went to places that where worth seeing, as for example Boniface. I would totally recommend this trip to everyone :-)) It was a great time! We will definitely join FollowAlice next year again :))
I typically don’t get that enthusiastic about trips, but Sailing Sardinia & Corsica with Follow Alice was hands down one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. I believe that what differentiates Follow Alice from other companies organizing sail weeks are two big factors: the people that join the trip and the organized activities. Overall, it was a great experience that I feel very comfortable recommending to my friends, which I am now convincing to join me next year.
