About Follow Alice

The team, the mission and our friends around the world

In 2015, four friends embarked on an adventure to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. The trip would change the course of our lives forever! The trek was challenging but incredibly rewarding. Inspired by the experience, we wanted to encourage other like-minded people to do the same. As soon as we arrived home, we started to share our story with friends, they shared the story with their friends and before we knew it we found ourselves curating the first few trips to Tanzania. Fast forward to today, and we’re helping people from all over the world explore top bucket list destinations. We remain passionate about facilitating authentic and extraordinary travel experiences!

Meet our local travel leaders

These guys are the magic behind Alice!

You want to have the most authentic travel experiences possible. We totally get that. You want to leave the tourist-saturated sites to others and instead immerse yourself in the culture, history and traditions of different people and places. This is why having a good local guide is such an essential part of any trip. We also know that finding one on your own can be very hard, and take a lot of time. We’ve worked very hard to find and develop good working relationships with some extra special local travel leaders to give you the most personalised and unique experiences possible. Each local travel leader is a real local with native-level knowledge and insights. Travelling with a trusted Follow Alice guide means you’ll have a truly authentic, safe and rewarding travel experience.

Who is Alice? She lives in all of us. That voice in the back of your head urging you to explore the unknown. The calling to distant places. The freedom seeker, the adventurer, the storyteller, the memory maker and above all – the friend.
