Detailed Itinerary

Annapurna Circuit

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350 m)

You’ll arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, where your trekking manager will meet you for a VIP transfer to your 5★ hotel. After check-in, relax with refreshments and take in the peaceful surroundings. In the evening you will meet your private guide and porter for a welcome briefing on safety, gear, and the route ahead. Cap the day with a fine-dining Nepali dinner, your first taste of luxury in Nepal.

Day 2: Take a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820 m)

Take a scenic flight of 25 to 30 minutes to Pokhara, enjoying aerial views of Annapurna and Manaslu. Check in at your 5★ lakeside resort and unwind.

In the afternoon you will be able to choose from:

  • A row on Phewa Lake.
  • Visit the Tal Barahi Temple.
  • Watch the sunset from Sarangkot.

Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, then trek to Ghorepani (2,860 m)

Drive 1.5–2 hours from Pokhara to Nayapul, then begin your 10–11 km trek to Ghorepani, which takes around 5–6 hours with an ascent of about 1,000 m. The trail passes charming Gurung villages, terraced fields, and rhododendron forests, with stunning views of Annapurna South and Himchuli. You will stay overnight at a premium lodge with a private room and hot shower.

Day 4: Sunrise at Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani (2,630 m)

Rise early for the 1–1.5 hour hike to Poon Hill, Nepal’s iconic sunrise viewpoint, where Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri, and Machapuchare glow in golden morning light. After breakfast, embark your 8 km trek to Tadapani, a 5–6 hour journey through rhododendron forests, past waterfalls, and along stunning mountain trails. Relax overnight in a luxury lodge with mountain-view rooms, soaking in the serenity of the Himalayas after a day of unforgettable vistas.

Day 5: Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrong

Set off on a 10 km trek from Tadapani to Chhomrong, spending 4–5 hours descending through lush forests and wandering past welcoming Gurung villages. The trail then climbs gently to Chhomrong, the last major village before the Annapurna Base Camp valley, with breathtaking close-up views of Machapuchare and Annapurna South along the way. Relax overnight in a cosy, high-end lodge with an attached bathroom, soaking in the peaceful Himalayan surroundings after a day of adventure.

Day 6: Trek from Chhomrong to Sinuwa

Set off on a moderate 5–6 km trek from Chhomrong to Sinuwa, which takes around 3–4 hours. Descend 500 stone steps to Chhomrong Khola before climbing through bamboo and oak forests to reach Upper Sinuwa. Along the way, enjoy the tranquility of the trail and the chance to spot Himalayan birdlife. Stay overnight in a premium teahouse with a private room and hot shower, a cosy retreat after a refreshing day in nature.

Day 7: Sinuwa to Himalaya Hotel or Deurali

Your 11–12 km journey to Himalaya Hotel or Deurali will take around 5–6 hours with a significant climb, rewarding every step with breathtaking alpine views. Wander through dense bamboo forests, pass charming settlements like Bamboo and Dovan, and feel the sense of adventure as the trail opens into glacial valleys and dramatic cliffs. Unwind in a luxury lodge or tented camp with comfortable bedding, soaking in the crisp mountain air.

Day 8: Trek from Himalaya or Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp

Today, you’ll trek 7–8 km over 4–5 hours, ascending 500–600 m through alpine meadows and glacial moraine paths to reach Annapurna Base Camp, one of the world’s most spectacular mountain amphitheaters. Stand surrounded by the majestic peaks of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machapuchare, taking in the panoramic 360° views. Spend the evening in a premium lodge or luxury tented camp, letting the grandeur of the Himalayas sink in as you relax after an unforgettable day.

Day 9: Fly from Annapurna Base Camp to Pokhara

Wake early for a magical sunrise at ABC between 6:00 and 7:00 AM, when the first golden light illuminates the peaks. Then board your private charter helicopter for a 30–40 minute flight back to Pokhara, skipping 2–3 days of descent. Check into a 5★ resort, where spa treatments, lakeside walks, and pure relaxation await you.

Day 10: Take a flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Take a short 25–30 minute flight back to Kathmandu and settle into a 5★ luxury hotel.
